Our Quality Management System (QMS) is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by Lloyd’s Register, demonstrating that we follow a robust and globally recognised approach that’s focused on continually improving our processes and managing business risks to meet the needs and expectations of our customers and other stakeholders. Our QMS has been developed from the ground-up by our Quality Manager to be a perfect fit for our business needs, ensuring that we retain the agility and flexibility to respond to our clients requirements but with the rigour and control that formal processes can provide.

All our designs are reviewed throughout the development lifecycle by everyone involved in the product; capturing suggestions from all stakeholders including assembly and test technicians as well as our design engineers and clients really does ensure our designs and processes continually improve. Additionally we ask for and welcome customer feedback to assist us in improving our services, we hold regular team meetings to discuss suggestions and improvements, and the management team hold regular reviews of our business performance to look for opportunities to improve.

Our clear and concise design process is logical and proven to deliver successful projects.
We explore your product, the target cost and volume. We look at the problems and needs your product is aimed at fulfilling. Using our experience we investigate the feasibility of creating your product within the target time-scales and cost. Identifying areas of risk.
After exploring the feasibility of creating your product, we focus on the areas of technical risk. Performing some initial bench testing of suitable technologies helps us to understand and mitigate these risks.
Compiling the information captured during the Explore and Evaluate phases we create a specification highlighting the key features and performance required. This becomes the agreed input specification for the prototype design and details the bounds of the project moving forward.
With our agreed specification, we begin to create the first prototype. Selecting components with the help of our industry contacts. Creating schematics, laying out the PCB and commissioning the build of a small number for initial development. Designing and implementing the core functionality of the embedded firmware.
Towards the end of the Engineer phase we review the design against the specification, capturing changes.
The previous prototype design is improved and built upon to create a refined prototype. Schematics and PCB layout are updated and embedded firmware features are added.
The design is verified against the specification and documentation for the products manufacturing created.
Moving in to manufacture we support you by finding the best assembly partner to meet your needs. assisting you with regulatory testing and approvals submission.
We can design and build test rigs and procedures to reduce build costs and ensure your clients are satisfied with your quality product.
The objective of CircuitWorx’s Production facility is to provide an excellent service to our clients by manufacturing quality products that meet the agreed technical specification within the agreed budget and timescale.
In addition to our ISO 9001:2015 certification, our Production QMS has been audited and approved by MET Labs (a Nationally Recognised Testing Laboratory) to enable us to manufacture products for sale in the USA.
Everyone at CircuitWorx is responsible for quality control through adherence to – and a commitment to improving – the QMS in order to best fulfill our quality aims. All suppliers, subcontractors and clients are also encouraged to engage in the continual improvement process.
CircuitWorx Directors are responsible for regularly reviewing the QMS to ensure it continues to be fit for purpose, and for communicating the Quality Policy and the effectiveness of the QMS to the rest of the business.
